ST PAT'S are sweating on international clearance for new signing Jordi Balk ahead of tomorrow's trip to Cork.

The Saints,last night, wrapped up a deal for the Dutch defender, 23, who has impressed on trial and played against Hearts midweek.

Balk started out at SVF Cothen and joined SV Houten before moving onto Utrecht.

Most recently he was with Dutch second division side FC Oss and also played with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.

Liam Buckley's Saints could hand debuts to Owen Garvan and Killian Brennan. Ian Bermingham is back from suspension but longterm concern Darren Dennehy is still out.
