pounds 9m Stow bid on table again.

DERBY-winning owner Bob Morton has repeated his offer to buy Walthamstow Stadium for pounds 9m following a good week for the Save Our Stow campaign.

A meeting with the All Party Parliamentary Greyhound Group in Westminster on Tuesday was followed by news that planning permission for two local sites, at Billet Road and the EMD Cinema, have been refused "Bob Morton has again written to L&Q's chief cxecutive David Montague," said SOS spokesman Ricky Holloway. "His offer is well above the site's current market value and, with the council turning down planning permission at two sites, there is now no chance of L&Q's deeply unpopular plans being successful."
