pounds 7m on a name!

AFTER 70 years trading as Dixons the company has decided to change its name to Currys. digital.

And the question is WHY? What kind of business hari-kari is it to spend pounds 7million changing a name that millions of people know and recognise instantly? Love 'em or loathe 'em, we all know what Dixons is, what it sells and what it stands for.

Curry sounds like the result of some overpaid executive with no brains and not enough to do deciding that the company needed a 21st Century re-vamp.

That pounds 7million would have been better spent giving customers what they really want - not silly bloody names, but quality goods at a decent price.
