pounds 20,000 snatch.

THE gang's third robbery saw pounds 20,000 taken in a cash-in-transit raid on Merseyside.

They targeted a petrol station, on Edge Lane, Liverpool, using an Audi car stolen from a house in the city days earlier.

The vehicle was next seen in the morning of the robbery, on May 4, 2009, when a cash box containing the money was taken.

Around 15 minutes later, the car was seen again, being used to break the cash box open by smashing it against the railings of a property in Liverpool.

The robbers got the money out and made off in a separate vehicle, a Vauxhall Signum, which was found parked in the city's Upper Parliament Street.

Inside the car was a cigarette butt with Kamara's DNA on it and traces of "smart water", which had been sprayed when the cash box was stolen, were also discovered.
