pounds 2,000 prize for flair.

Coventry University has launched a new scheme where students will receive pounds 2,000 if they can show they have a flair for enterprise.

The university is offering 50 scholarships to young entrepreneurs to encourage the development of enterprise and innovation in Britain.

'We are looking for students who may have developed an enterprise portfolio while at school,' said business development manager Liz Read.

'Applicants may have also come up with ways of doing something better or faster while working part-time and shown they have the nous to approach the company with their idea.'

The scholarships are available to applicants to all Coventry University courses.

The university is offering a joint enterprise degree next year when it will launch its Enterprise Academy
