pounds 150,000 haul as lorry is hijacked.

A LORRY containing pain killers worth pounds 150,000 was stolen after the driver was attacked at knifepoint.

A gang of three men assaulted the driver and then made off with the lorry in Aintree.

One of the men held a knife to the driver's face before stealing the truck, crammed with the pain killer Neurofen.

The lorry was taken from Albany Road and driven off in the direction of Greenwich Road.

The two other attackers made off in two dark coloured cars along Harradon Road towards Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley.

The driver of the lorry needed treatment for minor injuries and shock. The lorry was found abandoned on the East Lancs Road near Stonebridge Lane.
