GAMBLER Andrew Talbot won pounds 106,000 after placing a pounds 1 bet on an internet poker site.

The prize is believed to be the largest-ever internet gaming payout in Britain.

Andrew, 45, scooped the jackpot playing Cyberstud Poker at online casino 32red.com.

The computer dealt him the hand that every poker player in the world dreams of - a royal flush, which is an ace, king, queen, jack and 10 in the same suit - in this case clubs.

Andrew, of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, who runs an online trading firm, said: "It was an amazing moment.

"I knew I'd hit the jackpot, but had no idea how much that was until I clicked on the screen.

"This will pay back everything that I lost in gambling over the years."
