otr..Off The Record: Gavin leaves them Bushed.
Last year, the 34-year-old Bush frontman pocketed more than pop rivals Robbie Williams, Geri Halliwell and Oasis singer Liam Gallagher.
His band have sold more than 30 million albums thanks to a huge following in America.
He earned a whopping pounds 11million in 1999 .
But Gavin, whose mother is Scottish, plays down his wealth in case it puts fans off the grunge band.
He told The Record: "The last thing our fans want to hear is us going on about how much money we make when they're probably on the dole or grafting in a dead end job.
"It would be uncool. I do alright but I'm not making music for the money.
EX-VERVE singer Richard Ashcroft who wrote The Drugs Don't Work has denied taking heroin - but said his worst experience was on Crystal Meth.
He took it before an interview in California and ended up hopping up and down on one leg.
The Man Who did it again
TRAVIS have pushed Oasis off the Number One album slot after only a week - just as OTR predicted.
The Scots band, buoyed by a double win at the Brits, have now spent 42 weeks in the album charts with The Man Who, which has already been number one for a total of 14 weeks.
Travis were given a boost early in their career when they supported Oasis on tour, and they are now set to support Oasis on their US tour.
I'll sett Britney straight
BRITNEY SPEARS' English home is under threat of subsidence from badgers tunnelling just yards from her back door.
The singer paid pounds 1.5million for Battledown Manor, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire - and its sett of cute neighbours.
But local badger rescuer Tony Dean is gallantly offering to help sort out Britney's problem. He said yesterday: "Badgers can cause all sorts of destruction especially if you buy a property like Battledown Manor which is on a slope.
"If Britney would like me to go down to her house and help, then I'm available 24 hours a day.
