Black and white phone: I saw this in Camden market in London and just had to have it. It reminds me of the phone my granny had when I was little.

Glass egg: My 13-year-old nephew Allan went on holiday to Russia and brought this back as a gift for me.

Light fitting: This came from Habitat and it's made of cable ties. It's such a simple idea but is really effective.

Oil lamp: I spotted this at an auctioneer's in Dundee and got it for pounds 35. It still works - I think it was an absolute bargain.

White bread bin: I love the retro 50s look so this was ideal for my kitchen. I bought a matching kitchen roll holder and mug tree.
