MICROSOFT has released a monster fix to correct no fewer than six security holes in Internet Explorer.

The company that claims security is its number one priority has been caught out yet again. It's urging users to download the latest patch from com/technet but is unable to guarantee there'll be no more slip ups.

Which means it's open season on Microsoft as far as the hacker community is concerned, if only to prove its security is crap.

Meanwhile California's Immersion Corporation claims Microsoft and Sony infringed its patent on vibrating joysticks. Another patent case. Groan.
