TELECOMWORLDWIRE-27 October 2009-ikonami announces new contracts(C)1994-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONS http://www.m2.com

ikonami Ltd announced on Tuesday that nine NHS Trusts have signed up as new customers of its AT-Learning learning management system (LMS).

The new contracts were awarded before the end of Q3 2009. No financial details were disclosed.

The NHS Trusts which have awarded the company new contracts for the use of its LMS are: Northamptonshire NHS - Provider Services; NHS Southwark; Solihull NHS Care Trust; Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust; Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Foundation Trust; Sandwell Mental Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust; and NHS Shetland.

The provider of learning software systems for government, Independent Healthcare and National Health Service (NHS) organisations said customer feedback indicates that NHS Trusts select AT-Learning because it offers such a comprehensive learning platform and because of its links to the NHS' Electronic Knowledge and Skills Framework (e-KSF).

The solution was designed using real world processes within NHS organisations to meet the needs of healthcare providers and uses healthcare-specific terminology and vocabulary to increase familiarity and ease of use. It has been developed to automate the administration and management of learning and development, reducing the administrative burden on HR teams and leading to a lower total cost of ownership.
