iProduction expands, QuickFill upgrades. (Vendors).

Internet Production Inc., a.k.a. iProduction, one of the first internet publishing system providers in the U.S. (founded in 1994), recently added 2,000 square feet of office space to the company's St. Paul headquarters.

"We survived the internet storms of 2000 and 2001," said president Stephen M. Laliberte. "Now we're ready to grow a little."

He said expansion was necessary because iProduction has added five new publishers to its client roster since November 2001. "Much of our growth originated from newsletter and industry journal publishers," he continued. "If this keeps up, 2002 will be a very good year for us."

Laliberte told NL/NL that the newsletter publishers his company serves include Belvoir Publications, Washington Business Information, Raymond Communications, and Modern Distribution Management.

Publishers hire iProduction to acquire high-level web publishing capabilities quickly and to avoid the costs associated with in-house web departments. iProduction is an application service provider (ASP), meaning that clients pay monthly usage fees rather than buying iProduction systems outright.
