iMarkup Server Version 6 to Address Workflow and Business Process Requirements; Product Provides End-to-End Automation and Seamless Integration.

SAN DIEGO -- iMarkup Solutions, Inc., a provider of web-based business process automation and reporting solutions for the distributed enterprise, today announced the general availability of its iMarkup Server Version 6 technology. Developed to address the needs of today's enterprise users working with electronic forms and digital content, Version 6 of the iMarkup Server builds on the previous version and its ability to distribute, route, review and improve information flow throughout the eForm and document life cycle -- and enhances both the workflow and business process requirements of today's business user. Version 6 incorporates an integrated document management and workflow automation system with storage, categorization and search technology. Key functionality that is offered in version 6 includes: 1) Workflow that is 100% graphically-oriented, with a drag-and-drop builder and graphical workflow monitor, 2) A new navigation system with an expandable folder tree, 3) New graphical interface with sizable and sort-able columns, 4) A new reporting component providing business users with better access to data and reports, 5) The ability to provide `Custom Tasks' which ensures that unique business logic can be written once and re-used -- as well as enhancements to the eForm Builder and improved knowledge views.

Because information is the lifeblood of an organization, the flow of the information is critical to decision processes and decision-making. With iMarkup Server, enterprise users can now rely on web-based software that provides automation, advanced process management and reporting capabilities -- as well as iMarkup's eForms component which enables users to create, deploy and route forms electronically. This component allows users to pre-populate a form, make a change in an isolated section of the form, automatically initiate a review and approval cycle, instantaneously track and audit all tasks involved and execute changes automatically once all approvals are obtained.

As with previous versions of the product, the workflow engine provides a 100% web-based interface that enables users to graphically model and build their processes, enables documents, forms and tasks to be automatically routed in accordance with defined business processes, provides automated notification and due date management, as well as both pre-determined and dynamic routing, workflow administration and reporting and graphical views of workflows in progress. Integrated knowledge management functions that simplify search and distribution of documents, content, electronic forms and processes are also provided in version 6, as well as document history, version control, role-based security/permissions, external audit trails and remote user access.
