|The next meeting of the Cardiff Diabetes UK Cymru Group is on Wednesday, April 3, at 7.30pm in the Bethel Whitchurch Community Hall, off Penlline Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 2AA. Guest speaker is Buddug Rees who is giving a talk about the CeQur insulin delivery systems. There will be the chance to ask questions and talk to members about any concerns or tips. Everyone is welcome, diabetic or not. Light refreshments are available. This month Ian Doyle will talk about his interesting experiences of life with the RAF. These will include details of various evaluation exercises, including those concerning nuclear, chemical and biological warfare in the 1980s, and descriptions of various Nato exercises. The society meets on the first Friday of the month at the Penarth Conservative Club. Visitors and potential members are welcome to attend, for a small donation. |There will be a jumble sale on Saturday, April 6, from 10.30am-2pm, at Cardiff and Vale Scout Hub, Maitland Street, Cardiff. Clothes, books and toys, bric-abrac plus raffle and cake stall. Free entry. All proceeds to Mynachdy community.

|Caerphilly Ladies Choir is inviting women who enjoy singing to attend an open rehearsal at Ysgol y Castell, Crescent Road, Caerphilly, on Tuesday, April 9, from 7.30pm-9pm with the chance to meet the music team and have the opportunity to join in with a few songs or just enjoy an evening's entertainment. Following the singing there will be refreshments and nibbles. All ladies (16+) are welcome. Free admission. Visit for more information.
