enbasys BioGas Joins the Newly Formed American Biogas Council.

GRAMBACH, Austria -- Enbasys GmbH, the BioGas subsidiary of BDI - BioEnergy International AG, announced that it has joined the recently established American Biogas Council (ABC), an association promoting anaerobic digestion (AD) technology advancement. AD technology is an efficient way to convert organic waste streams into energy by generating BioGas using microorganisms. "Our high-load anaerobic digester technology revolutionizes AD. Designed for the demanding industrial user, it is well established in Europe but still very new in North America and other global markets" explained Dr. Stefan Kromus, managing director of enbasys. "The council will help us to get the word out and to educate the public on this new alternative energy solution".

Enbasys is an innovative AD technology provider based in Austria. The company's extremely economic ENBAFERM Multi-Feedstock BioGas technology processes industrial and municipal residual and waste materials very reliably and efficiently. It maximizes the energy output of a BioGas plant while reducing the capital requirements at the same time. BDI - BioEnergy International has recently taken over a majority stake in the company to expand its business in the generation of renewable energy from a variety of waste materials. BDI has specialized in the development of technologies that make optimum use of resources in the industrial processing of by- and waste products ever since it was established in 1996. Most notably it is global market and technology leader in Multi-Feedstock BioDiesel production technology.
