Seaweed Systems and eNGENUITY Technologies sign important

agreement allowing the companies to fully cooperate on products and

marketing targeted at the expanding DO-178B market

Seaweed Systems, Inc., a leading developer and supplier of OpenGL(R) and X Window System embedded graphics driver products and eNGENUITY Technologies Inc. (TSX:EGY), a leading supplier of collaborative tools for the smart engineering of high-reliability systems over the Web, today announced that they have become key partners in the DO-178B-certifiable embedded graphics market. As part of the Joint Marketing Agreement, eNGENUITY Technologies Inc. and Seaweed Systems, Inc. will exploit their individual product strengths by collaborating on their respective products and marketing initiatives aimed at the ever-growing DO-178B certification marketplace.

"eNGENUITY Technologies' VAPS and QCG products are the established market leaders in the prototyping and development of DO-178B-certifiable embedded graphics applications. Our 2D and 3D Cert products (CertCode, CertKit and CertAssist) provide a seamless DO-178B-certifiable layer between the OpenGL(R) applications generated by eNGENUITY's tools and our customers' embedded target platforms. This makes it easier for our customers to certify their products and separate changes in their target platform from their application development. This separation allows customers to protect their investment in application development and take advantage of the latest developments in CPU, graphics device and RTOS technologies as they occur," said Phil Cole, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Seaweed Systems. "The combination of eNGENUITY's certifiable COTS tools and our certifiable COTS OpenGL(R) APIs makes us uniquely situated as a team to provide the very best, fully integrated COTS solutions for the high-end embedded graphics industry."

"This new partnership will provide proven, turn-key solutions for users who require a highly-developed and compliant set of tools and products with which to satisfy their DO-178B graphics requirements quickly and economically," said Patrice Commune, Vice President, Worldwide Sales of eNGENUITY Technologies Inc.
