ALISO VIEJO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2000

eCommercial.com (OTC: ECRL), a provider of patent-pending rich-media Internet communications and marketing automation solutions, today announced it had partnered with Jive Records and pop music sensation *NSYNC. The internationally acclaimed singing group recently utilized eCommercial.com's proprietary technology to launch a global Internet e-mail campaign promoting its new album, No Strings Attached, slated for release March 21st.

The eCommercial was delivered to hundreds of thousands of *NSYNC fans as part of Jive Records' permission-based e-mail marketing campaign and generated an overall response rate of over 20%. *NSYNC's interactive message contained specially recorded video footage featuring the five members of the band encouraging their fans to spread the word about their upcoming album. The appeal of this exciting personal message from the band caused recipients to pass the eCommercial on to their friends, increasing overall viewership by more than 50%. Additionally, each *NSYNC fan that launched the eCommercial watched the video segment more than three times on average.

"Interactive e-mails such as this message from *NSYNC represent a tremendous opportunity for both the label and the artist to reach music fans," said Tom Blakeley, president and CEO of eCommercial.com. "eCommercial.com provides a powerful and cost effective way for marketers to reach out to their target audiences before albums even go to the stores."

In addition to building the buzz for the release of No Strings Attached, recipients of the eCommercial could immediately pre-order the new *NSYNC CD online through an interactive link to Getmusic.com. The campaign also successfully drove a tremendous amount of traffic to the *NSYNC/Jive Records website, www.byebyebye.com, and generated a significant increase in membership to the *NSYNC online fan club.

"Jive Records is very excited to be working with eCommercial on this campaign. eCommercial's technology has created a new and powerful medium for *NSYNC to reach out to their loyal fans," said James Propp, director of Internet marketing for Jive Records. "Creating strategic buzz on the Internet is critical to reaching and attracting larger audiences. This interactive message from *NSYNC has proven to be an exciting and compelling way to communicate with web-savvy music fans."
