TELECOMWORLDWIRE-August 26, 2010-eCert to provide fraud protection for AG Interactive customers(C)1994-2010 M2 COMMUNICATIONS http://www.m2.com

eCert, a provider of e-mail security, announced yesterday that it has been selected to provide fraud protection to recipients of e-cards from electronic greetings sites AmericanGreetings.com, BlueMountain.com and Egreetings.com, which are all operated by AG Interactive Inc, a subsidiary of American Greetings Corporation.

The company said that its service will ensure that members of these sites can send and receive electronic cards without the worries of possible viruses, malware or fraudulent e-mails being received by them or by their friends and loved ones.

eCert said that its recently launched E-mail Domain eCertification service prevents fraudulent online communications from reaching a user's inbox and can provide data on e-mail traffic activity and phishing attack alerts to companies using the service to help them prevent e-mail fraud.

The company also said that it has recently announced partnerships with the Financial Services - Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), BITS, Google, Yahoo and other financial institutions.

No financial details of the arrangement with AG Interactive were provided.
