e-business: QCom wins its stripes.

Birmingham firm QCom has become the first independent company in Europe to be awarded authorised service provider status by Zebra Technologies, one of the world's leading suppliers of bar code and speciality labelling printing equipment.

As a Zebra authorised service provider, QCom will provide specialist technical expertise to make sure that equipment is fully maintained and that any downtime caused by a fault is minimised. QCom will log all fault calls at its control centre in Birmingham.

David Day, account manager for Zebra in the UK, said: 'Through out business partner agreement, we have recommended QCom's maintenance service to customers buying our equipment for some time.'
