dnata Travel has just opened its newest travel hub in Qatar at The Pearl-Qatar. The opening of the new outlet expands dnata Travel's retail network in Doha to nine hubs with a combined 65 travel advisors.

Popular holiday destinations for travellers in Qatar remain London, Paris, Thailand and Maldives with short break getaways to the UAE, Oman and the Indian Ocean islands gaining popularity. The vision for dnata Travel's retail hub expansion has taken into account the inbound traffic expected during the 2022 World Cup, and to promote the country as a major tourism destination.

"The opening of our ninth travel hub is a testament to the service standards, quality travel products and overall success of dnata Travel in Qatar. We have seen our business grow exponentially over the past few years and I believe it is due to service innovation, technology, and staff," said dnata Travel Regional VP Rashid Alawadi.

dnata Travel first entered Qatar in 2009 with its corporate travel business and has since grown to being among the leading travel management companies in the country catering to both individual and corporate clients. The company has experienced a yearly growth of 15 to 20 percent in overall business and more than 100 percent growth in non-air business in the last three years.
