US houser supreme Erick Morillo has been praising Scottish crowds again. The ex-Reel 2 Real star told M8: "It's magical, they love it up there in Scotland. It doesn't matter which way you play, they just like it. I'm really excited about playing a festival there."

FERGIE'S about to hit big again in clubland. Bass Generator, the standout track from the Bass EP, has been remixed by Robbie Rivera. Expect major dancefloor action for these chunky reworkings.

AS festival season approaches, it's looking like a busy summer for fans of fun in fields. With Coloursfest just a week away and T In The Park and Gig On The Green looming large, I've been hearing strong rumours of another major Scots clubbing festival launching later in the summer. More news soon.
