Then he wins EUR3 million on the slot machines, but a judge freezes the winnings while they try to give their marriage a chance.

Predictable and forgettable, it's still watchable and fairly amusing.

"We're still in Vegas for 21 (12), based on a true story about a bunch of bright students who won millions by counting cards at blackjack. Jim Sturgess is recruited into the group by maths lecturer Kevin Spacey and he falls for Kate Bosworth, but violent security expert Laurence Fishburne wants to stop their fun. The plot's complicated, the characters one-dimensional and the script is bland.

"SHUTTER (15) and THE EYE (15) are both bad remakes of Far Eastern horror Qlms. In Shutter, Joshua Jackson plays a photographer who starts seeing strange white shadows on his prints, while Jessica Alba is a violinist who gets cornea transplants in The Eye and starts seeing dead people. Both Qlms lack sense and tension.

"CARAMEL (PG) is an amiable, if a little slow, Qlm following the lives and loves of a group of women in a Beirut beauty salon.
