The donation was handed over in the presence of Mohamad al Kuwari, head of Reward and HR Services at al khaliji, and Taleb Abdullah Afifah, Board member at the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs. Kuwari said, "As al khaliji continues to have a very promising journey in Qatar, we believe this is our responsibility to help the underprivileged society by supporting unique endeavours such as the one by the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs team. We are happy to associate with them again to support the cause and seek to witness all-inclusive growth of Qatar, which will ultimately support Qatar National Vision 2030." Taleb Abdullah Afifah praised al khaliji Bank and its sponsors for their keenness to cooperate with the association and contribute to the care of children with disabilities on a permanent basis and expressed his gratitude for their generous donation, which will be used for purchasing medical equipment. The medical and prosthetic devices required for the special needs people are: electric wheelchairs, electric medical beds, wheelchairs with special specifications for severe motor disabilities, medical glasses, hearing aids for the hearing impaired, laptop devices for people with visual and motor disabilities and other devices needed by persons with disabilities, taking into account the progress made in the quality of these devices.
