A STUNNING Airdrie plus size model branded "fat" by vicious online trolls has launched a body positivity campaign for short, curvy women.
After years of being forced to alter her clothing, Lizzie Murphy is calling on fashion retailers to cater for shorter voluptuous ladies.
The 31-year-old, who wears a size 12, gathered a group of plus size ladies - all under 5ft 3in - for a photoshoot at Barony Castle Hotel in Peebles.
She has shared the photos in a bid to show other young women that they are beautiful regardless of their size.
Lizzie said: "I hear from my friends that they struggle to get nice clothes that fit properly. "It would be really nice to be able to buy something that was designed with shorter, curvy girls in mind."
Despite the stunning results of the shoot, Lizzie told how social media trolls still targeted her afterwards but she has vowed to never let them get her down.
She added: "We did a video of us walking during the shoot and put it on TikTok and it got 54,000 views. There were a lot of people commenting that we were promoting obesity and that's not the case at all.
"I've been called fat all the time and I'm a size 12. People who don't know you, don't matter - I try to live by that."
