THE sounds of the Sixties come to Llandudno's Venue Cymru this autumn.

The Tremeloes, Hermans Hermits, The Union Gapuk and The Ivy League, hosted by Jon Brennan, all appear under the title The Sensational Sixties Experience.

The four bands will be performing hits from their chart-topping days.

For the Tremeloes, who once beat The Beatles to a three-year Decca record contact, those includeSilence is Golden, Twist and Shout, Here comes my Baby, Do you Love Me , Helule Helule, Even The Bad Times Are Good, Angel Of The Morning.

Hermans Hermits chalked up more than 23 top 20 singles, 10 hit albums and three major movies. The singles include I'm Into Something Good, Something Is Happening, No Milk Today, I'm Henry The 8th, Silhouettes, Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter.

The Union Gapuk will perform Number One single Young Girl, Lady Willpower, Woman Woman, Over You, while The Ivy League, with Dave Buckley, will be singing Funny How Love Can Be, Tossing & Turning, That's Why I'm Crying.
