Zoya Bolly tribute rides on ' Sheila'.

KATRINA Kaif is all set to reprise her Sheila avatar. Zoya Akhtar, who directed the superstar in last year's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara , plans to make a documentary on the 100 years of Bollywood titled Sheila Ki Jawaani , and Katrina will naturally feature in the project.

Zoya's film, however, is not about the hit item song from Tees Maar Khan . The documentary will try to capture the essence of a century of glamour obsession as represented by the song.

" The docu- film is actually Zoya's tribute to the Bollywood style of filmmaking and traces its evolvement since its inception to present times when the Hindi film world has become the biggest cinema industry in the whole world. The filmmaker believes Sheila Ki Jawaani encompasses the essence of glamour that drives mainstream Hindi films, hence the title of her documentary," a source said.

The documentary will unfold as the story of a young boy who is a fan of item dances -- particularly ' Sheila ki jawaani' -- and hopes to meet Sheila some day.

Using the boy's obsession as a peg, the film will trace the popular fancy for Bollywood films down the ages, and how it has only grown over a century.

While Katrina will be seen in the docu- film, it is not yet clear if Zoya will feature the entire Tees Maar Khan item number on her film or merely use portions of the song. A buzz in industry suggests that Zoya might reshoot the song for her documentary.

Katrina has confirmed working in Zoya's documentary. Zoya's actorfilmmaker brother Farhan Akhtar has also confirmed working in the film. Zoya and Katrina developed a fine rapport while shooting for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara , the filmmaker's multistarrer hit of last year that boasted of a powerpacked cast.

Zoya has subsequently hinted at the fact that she would be keen on casting Katrina in her next feature film too, whenever it is announced.
