Zetes to roll out voice solution for DIA in Asia.

(ADPnews) - Oct 20, 2009 - Belgium-based Zetes Industries SA (EBR:ZTS), provider of automatic goods and people identification services, said today it will roll out its 3iVoice solution for French distribution chain DIA in Asia.

Asia is the third continent, after Europe and South America, where DIA will be using the 3iV technology. Zetes will start with a trial launch at the customer's Shanghai warehouse, and later introduce it at its Beijing warehouse.

Zetes first provided services for DIA in 2006, when it set up a voice picking solution in one of its Spanish warehouses. The satisfactory results in terms of improved quality, productivity and simplification of procedures led to the gradual incorporation of the voice solution in the rest of the company's Spanish, French, Portuguese and Greek warehouses.

DIA is a subsidiary of French retailer Carrefour SA (EPA:CA) and runs a total of 44 warehouses worldwide employing more than 50,000.
