Zest for travel abroad? Speakers program obliges.

The ASRT Education and Research Foundation launched its newest grant program, the International Speakers Exchange Grant program, in 2006. The Foundation believes that, although radiologic science education, equipment and protocols differ from country to country, every radiologic technologist around the world strives to deliver quality patient care. Because of this, the Foundation and the current year ISEG program sponsor, the British Society of Radiographers, are providing funding for one ASRT member to travel to Manchester, England, to present at the 2007 United Kingdom Radiological Congress. This joint meeting of the British Institute of Radiology, the College of Radiographers, the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine and the Royal College of Radiologists covers all aspects of diagnostic imaging and oncology, as well as radiology informatics and service delivery. The Foundation is reviewing applications and will publish the name of its winner in the April issue of the ASRT Scanner.

Don't miss your chance to travel abroad and share your wealth of knowledge with the world. Information on the 2008 ISEG opportunities will be posted on the Foundation Web site soon.
