ZipBackup, Inc. has launched ZipBackup 3.0 with Smart Copy and Restore(tm) to make backing up, restoring, and copying files simple even for inexperienced computer users.With ZipBackup's four-step Backup Wizard, you can easily backup your documents, email, favorites and other settings to CD, DVD, hard drive, removable drive, flash drive, or even over a network. ZipBackup backs up to standard Zip files for easy retrieval and archiving.
With ZipBackup's advanced filtering you can backup or exclude files by type, size, or modification date. ZipBackup will even create incremental and differential backups allowing you to backup only files that have changed since the last backup.
Smart Copy and Restore
ZipBackup's Smart Copy and Restore makes copying or restoring your files to their proper location or to another computer effortless. Most Windows users are familiar with standard Windows folders such as "My Documents" and "Favorites", but these folders may be stored in different locations on different computers. With Smart Copy and Restore, ZipBackup recognizes these folders and copies or restores to the proper location so files contained in "My Documents" end up in "My Documents" even when moving files from one computer to another or one version of Windows to another.
