Ziff said that editorial includes case studies of technology deployments, interviews with CIOs who are using technology to streamline processes and analysis of current issues and trends, such as privacy and security. Regular features include information on national initiatives that effect local government technology decisions and an examination of the government technology "landscape."
State Tech publisher Cameron Brown said that the new title is designed to "provide government CIOs and IT buyers with the tools that they need to put this information to work to solve business problems."
In related news, Ziff Davis Media will cease publication of Expedia Travels effective after the November issue. Published six times a year, the consumer title was launched with a November/December 2000 issue.
