 ZERINGUE NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF HALLIBURTON ENERGY SERVICES GROUP
 DALLAS, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL) announced today that W. J. (Zeke) Zeringue has been named vice president of the company's Energy Services Group (ESG), headquartered in Houston.
 Zeringue's appointment was announced by Alan A. Baker, chairman and chief executive officer of the ESG.
 For the past two years Zeringue has been serving as general manager of Halliburton Services Division's Coastal Area offices in New Orleans. In his new position he will interface with all operating units in the Energy Services Group, as well as be responsible for the group's executive sales and special projects activities.
 Zeringue's career with Halliburton Company has spanned 20 years. In 1972 he joined Halliburton Services as an engineer-in-training at Houma, La. Over the next ten years Zeringue progressed through various field assignments in South Louisiana prior to becoming sales manager in New Orleans. In 1982 he moved to Mission, Texas, as district manager, and later the same year he became assistant division manager in Houston.
 From 1986 to 1989 Zeringue served as manager for Halliburton Services' Singapore division. In August of 1989 he returned to Halliburton Company's corporate offices in Dallas as manager-oil field services. In September 1990 he assumed his post in New Orleans as division manager.
 Zeringue, a native of New Orleans, was graduated in 1971 from Louisiana State University with a BS degree in petroleum engineering. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
