Your views: Gods' muddle.

Byline: F C OSBORNE

ONE reason why many people shun religion is because of double standards and contradictions in the teaching.

We are told 'Thou shalt not kill', yet God brought about 'Fire and brimstone' and even death upon those being led into the promised land by Moses.

The Koran teaches love and peace yet there are those who besmirch Islam by the promise of paradise to those who kill an infidel.

How can God or Allah preach peace, but then condone killing with the promise of paradise?
