IT'S not the Liverpool board's fault when other clubs agree a fee and then change their minds. We will not be held to ransom.

All those who want the board to spend ridiculous amounts of cash should think of Leeds United.

Maybe it is a good thing we haven't signed any more players as it gives youngsters like Whitbread and Potter the chance to establish themselves in the team and save the club pounds 20 million
