Your Poem The Weather.

Byline: By Barbara Thomas, Great Crosby

The weather has been so awful, Nothing but wind and rain, It's only the month of September, I wonder what it's like in Spain?

Once again parts of the country are flooded, With the colossal amount of rain, The rivers and brooks are bursting their banks, Looks like we will have to endure again.

England, Wales and Scotland are effected, Even the jolly old Emerald Isle, Peoples lives are very much at risk And, sadly, some have died.

The rescue services are at full stretch, Busy doing what they know best, Risking their own lives and limbs, To rescue their fellowman and beast.

Whatever happened to our summer?

It simply didn't exist, Perhaps now the schools have gone back, We may get an Indian summer, like 2006.
