Your Poem; A CHILD.

A child will know - a child can tell They are older than their years And you will know when you have their trust They will let you share their tears And when they come to you for comfort With their problems, big or small You will hold them close and wipe away their tears And feel about ten feet tall All things in our wold Can make them feel so small But they know you are always near And will come when they call Each day for them a new adventure A world so full of fun A world so full of innocence A life that has just begun But part of what we have to do Is to guide them on their way To help and protect them In a world that is not all play Things in life that they must learn What is good and what is bad These things that we must teach them All part of being 'A Mum or a Dad' by W.J. Scally, Leigh
