Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Conditioner, pounds 5.29 for 250ml Formulated to mend split ends and smooth roughened cuticles, this conditioner certainly lives up to its name. My hair felt instantly smoother and looked loads glossier - a miraculous achievement. 9/10

Tesco Moisture Enriching Conditioner, pounds 1.69 for 300ml This felt lovely when I first applied it and helped detangle those knots, but it left my hair feeling a little lank afterwards. Ideal if your locks are in need of a big moisture boost. 6/10

Timotei Restoring Cotton Conditioner, pounds 1.99 for 300ml Ideal for anyone with coloured hair, this conditioner contains cotton extract which helps to strengthen and smooth limp locks. My hair definitely felt a lot softer and much more manageable after using it. Not bad at all! 7/10

Charles Worthington Daily Treat Shine-Enhancing Conditioner, pounds 3.99 for 250ml This conditioner really is a treat for dull, lifeless hair and it certainly brought the shine back to my locks. Well worth splashing out on if you are in the mood to treat yourself. 8/10

Pantene Pro-V Smooth And Sleek Conditioner, pounds 1.99 for 200ml This conditioner is designed to smooth hair while also strengthening unruly locks. My hair was softer, but it also felt heavier than usual. Fantastic for taming frizzy heads. 7/10
