Your Life: Dear Miriam - I hate best pal sneaking in; ADVICE.

Byline: DR. MIRIAM STOPPARD

Dear Miriam,

My so-called best friend has been dating my ex secretly. I broke up with her a few months ago but I hoped we'd get back together. I'm angry he sympathised with me while he was sneaking behind my back. He claims she asked him out.

Should I try to win her back even though they seem solid?

Billy

Dear Billy,

Don't be a sore loser. Of course, it's tough but neither of them have done anything wrong. She was single because you dumped her and he was single too. You must think a lot of yourself if you expected her to pine away.

If their feelings run deep, it's selfish for you to expect them to deny them to keep you happy. You had your chance and you didn't want it.
