THE Belles of Three Spires were delighted to be invited to perform at the Annual General Meeting of the Heart of England Community Foundation earlier this month. We were invited to sing for them as part of their evening's entertainment provided by the beneficiaries of the Heart of England Community Foundation.
We have been so thankful to the Heart of England Community Foundation for accepting our applications for grants in the last two years. In 2009 we won our bid for a pounds 2500 grant towards stage wear. Without their support we would not have been able to provide new posh frocks for the chorus to perform in. This will be a vital component of our competition package as we enter our national championships in a few weeks time. The Belles of Three Spires, Coventry's premier ladies Barbershop Chorus, will be representing Coventry at the National Championships of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers on October 30, in Llandudno.
