Youngsters in tune for new initiative.

YOUNG music fans will have the chance to test their songwriting, singing and production skills at a summer project organised by a national charity.

The teenagers from North Warwickshire can join the Motivated by Music scheme operated by the Youth Music charity and managed by the Three Villages Rural youth project.

The aim is to increase young people's knowledge of the music industry and it has teamed up with Birmingham's O2 Academy so they get a chance to perform at the top venue later in the year.

The project starts with taster sessions being held on Monday, June 11, at Wood End Village Hall, from 5-7pm. Details from from Kirsty at 07778 218525. Places are limited.
