16 March 2016 - US auto dealership operator Young Automotive Group have purchased Berger Motor Sales of Ionia Michigan, the family said.
Ned Berger, along with his family, had owned the business since 1938. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The new dealership will be called Young Chevrolet, Buick, GMC of Ionia.
This investment marks the eighth dealership for the Young Automotive Group, which includes stores in Owosso, Vassar, Frankenmuth, Lansing and Jackson in the US state of Michigan.
The fifth-generation family-owned business has employed over 500 people in the region. It has also grossed an impressive amount of car sales throughout the years.
In the last year, the Young Automotive family of dealerships sold over 9,600 new and used vehicles.
