You-Turn , a documentary film showcasing the environmentally friendly initiatives undertaken by Qatar, won the second place ahead of the COP18/CMP8 Climate Change Conference in Doha. Aspiring documentary makers were invited to enter an eco-film competition organised by the HSE Regulations and Enforcement Department of Qatar Petroleum earlier last month. The filmmakers received their prizes from Abdulaziz al-Khater, CEO of Doha Film Institute, after which they saw their film screened before the huge audience of delegates, international media, NGO representat ives and local people at the Energy & Industry Pavilion at the Qatar Sustainability Expo, alongside the conference. We wanted to portray the State of Qatar that is moving the right way forward," said the team about the making of the movie. The competition was open to anyone interested in making films.
