When the lovable monsters find themselves under threat from an exterminator, Eggs must try to save his adoptive family, with help from the surface.

The Boxtrolls is based on Alan Snow's book Here Be Monsters! and is produced by Laika, the animation studio behind Coraline and ParaNorman. The voice cast includes Toni T Collette, Elle Fanning, Richard Ayoade, A Nick Frost, and Sir Ben Kingsley. In cinemas now, cert PG.
