You say: Short points.

Byline: S. Markey

YOU have done it again! Despite numerous letters from readers including myself you are calling Cherie Blair Britain's First Lady.

She is not, nor can she ever be the First Lady. HM The Queen is First Lady. The result from an American magazine cuts no ice here.

What has she ever done to be called the most powerful woman in Britain, apart form going on free holidays and lunches and dinners trailing her husband?

Would you keep calling her first lady if she were not from Liverpool?
