You mutt be joking; Killer terrier owner is sent for female empowerment lessons.
A WOMAN whose dog tore the head off a pooch has escaped jail and instead been sent to female empowerment classes.
Serial criminal Susan Campbell was pictured covered in blood, dragging her brute bull terrier away from a mauled Pomeranian dog.
As helpless owner Gemma Antell - who last night slammed the sentence as a "joke" - looked on, Campbell, 42, strolled off sneering: "It's not his fault, he's only a baby."
This week Campbell, who has 15 convictions for previous offences, avoided jail at Runcorn magistrates court after she admitted having a dog dangerously out of control in public.
Instead, she was given a community order with a ruling to complete 15 workshops of female empowerment to improve her self-esteem following the killing in Warrington, Cheshire, in September. Miss Antell, 30, owner of poor Elvis, fumed: "Susan Campbell showed no remorse. She should be in jail.
The course is a joke."
Her partner and co-owner of the dog David Savage, 44, was given an eight-week suspended jail sentence. The dog was destroyed.
