You can help beat baffling leaflets.

PEOPLE are being asked to have their say on how health and social services leaflets are written.

Sefton council and health bosses are looking for volunteers to join a ``readers panel'' to compose the literature and make sure it is easy to understand.

A spokesman for Sefton council said: ``The panel will be set up in total confidence and people will be able to decide how much or how little they want to be involved.

``It doesn't matter what your background is.''

A workshop is being held on October 8. Send a letter with your name, address and phone number to Freepost (LV7340) Readers Panel, c/o Social Services, Sefton council, Bootle, L20 1YX, by Friday August 30, or contact 0151-934 3695.
