You Say: Purely wicked.

ALL this discussion of Brian Blackwell's so-called personality disorder strikes me as an excuse for pure wickedness ('I killed mum and dad', ECHO, June 29).

Can we no longer accept that some people are evil, must they have a condition to excuse it? In the days of hanging, I suspect if this was the case then no-one would have gone to the gallows because there would always have been a ready syndrome to point the finger at.
