You're a disgrace Bobby!
Agent Mike Ferguson branded Williamson a DISGRACE and reeled off a shock list of allegations against the manager.
Stopper Whitworth has been freed 11 months after recovering from the TB scare that threatened his football career. And fuming Ferguson accused Rugby Park gaffer Williamson of:
FREEZING Whitworth out of reserve football for the last two months.
WRECKING his chance of a move before the March 31 transfer deadline.
Ferguson seethed: "In 40 years in football I have never come across treatment like this.
"Three clubs who contacted Williamson about buying Neil were put off - you can judge for yourself the reason why.
"It's disgusting and he's a total disgrace."
But Williamson denied he had done the dirty on his player and said: "I took on a personal trainer to get him over his TB. I wouldn't have done that if I didn't care.
"Two months ago we accepted an offer from Wigan for him and he told me he didn't want Killie to get a penny from his sale.
"You decide then he doesn't care about your club and why should you put him in the shop window?
"It shouldn't have ended like this and I wish Neil all the best."
Killie chief executive Ian Welsh travelled to Preston and sorted out Whitworth's departure with Ferguson.
Sheffield Wednesday want Neil on a two-week trial but that would leave only eight days to fix up a move before the deadline.
Whitworth stayed tight-lipped on the feud but his agent blasted: "Ian Welsh has been above reproach, unlike his manager.
"I wouldn't recommend a player to go near Killie while he is still boss."
