Yogen Fruz World-Wide.

Yogen Fruz World-Wide announced financial results for the first quarter of 2000, including revenues of $20.7 million, down from $22.8 million in the same period of 1999. The net loss for the quarter was $670,000, as compared with a net gain in the first quarter of 1998 of $306,000. The decline in revenues was attributed to a decline in sales of both packaged products and in company-owned shops. The company dismissed the negative results as fluctuations that can occur in the off-season without being predictive of the peak selling periods and the overall fiscal year.
