Yoga online?

I FULLY endorse views expressed by Mr S Baskaran on yoga and yoga teachers (GDN, July 4). Doing yoga by attending classes will be effective only if the teacher is dedicated and professionally trained.

After knowing the bad experience narrated by a housewife from a yoga teacher, I strongly doubt whether the mentioned instructor has got enough certification in yoga or whether he has got the necessary approvals (if at all required to practice and train yoga) from various ministries including the Health Ministry.

As suggested by Mr Baskaran, it's always better to go online and get yoga training rather than going through bad experiences. Another useful, convenient and cost effective way is to buy a good Yoga CD (which I did) which costs around 500 fils and do it ourselves. For the benefit of readers who are yoga aspirants, I suggest the ones below which are available in most CD shops across Bahrain.

"Nithya Lalitha Yoga" by Certified trainer, E Balakrishnan Kidavu; and

"Shilpas Yoga" by Indian actress Shilpa Shetty
