Yemen, Oxfam discuss enhancing women's role in political, economic life.

] SANA'A, March 31 (Saba) - President Adviser for Women's Affairs Faiqah al-Sayed discussed here on Monday with Regional Director for Middle East, Eastern Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States at Oxfam Olga Ghazaryan means to enlarge gender and women's participation in political and economic life.

The two sides also discussed enhancing the role of the Yemeni women in various fields, in particular economy and policy, and the support that could be provided in this regard.

Al-Sayed praised the contributions of Oxfam in supporting women's activities in Yemen through carrying out a number of rehabilitation and awareness programs.

For her part, Ghazaryan assured that the Oxfam is keen to continue its support for the community organizations concerned with gender mergence in the political and economic life in Yemen.
